Lagos has never been a city that stays still. As businesses expand, new roads are developed and residential communities grow, the property landscape continues to change. Areas that once appeared distant from major activity gradually become connected to the wider city. For property buyers and investors, this creates an important question.

Where is the city going next?

The answer is not always found by looking at the areas that are already expensive. Established locations such as Ikeja and Yaba continue to attract property interest because of their existing infrastructure, commercial activity and accessibility. Yemozil Investment Ltd has developments in both areas, including Charis Mews in Omole Phase 2, Ikeja, and Ethan Court 1 and Pearl Court in Yaba.

At the same time, areas outside the traditional centres of Lagos continue to attract attention as people look for different combinations of affordability, space and accessibility. Haven Court in Mowe is part of this wider conversation. But location alone does not tell the whole story. A serious property decision requires the buyer to consider what surrounds the property today and what may influence the area over time. Road access matters. Security matters. Infrastructure matters. Commercial activity matters. Residential demand matters. The intended use of the property also matters. For someone buying a home, the question may be how convenient the location will be for everyday life. For an investor, the conversation may be broader.

What type of people live around the area? What attracts people there? What kind of property is in demand? How accessible is the location? There is no single answer for every buyer. The important thing is to understand the location before committing your money to it. And that is where a property conversation should begin.
